The approved list, exactly as approved.
The full list at the foot of this page is the dermatology section of the technical catalogue approved for the hospital by the Ministry of Health under Decision 723/QĐ-BYT of 23 March 2026, with technique codes per Circular 23/2024/TT-BYT. The names are the approved names, kept as they stand rather than rewritten into trade names.
The techniques use CO2 laser, KTP/Nd:YAG laser, intense pulsed light (IPL), fractional laser, radiofrequency (RF), microneedling with topical medication, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), LED light therapy, iontophoresis, and both therapeutic and aesthetic injections. None of them is surgery.
One skin problem, several possible routes. Melasma, for instance, appears in the list both as a device-based treatment and as microneedling with topical medication. Which one suits you depends on your skin type, how far the condition has gone, what medication you are on and what you have already had done. The doctor sets out the options during the consultation itself.
