The full list at the foot of this page is the dental and maxillofacial section of the technical catalogue approved for the hospital by the Ministry of Health under Decision 723/QĐ-BYT of 23 March 2026, with technique codes per Circular 23/2024/TT-BYT. The names are the approved names, kept as they stand rather than rewritten into trade names.

The catalogue runs across thirteen groups: implants and pre-prosthetic surgery, periodontics, endodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, implant-supported prosthetics, fixed prosthetics, removable dentures, orthodontics, occlusion and the temporomandibular joint, oral surgery and extractions, preventive dentistry, paediatric dentistry, and maxillofacial surgery and trauma.

A damaged tooth has more than one route. Keeping the tooth with root canal treatment and a restoration, crowning it or fitting an inlay or onlay, or removing it and placing an implant — each route has its own indications, and which one applies depends on how far the damage has gone, on the bone and on your bite. The doctor sets out each option, with its trade-offs, during the consultation itself.

Dental implants & pre-prosthetic surgery

Replacing a missing tooth with an implant, together with the surgery that prepares the bone when the ridge is not adequate on its own.

The department’s largest group: aligning the teeth and the relationship between the jaws with fixed or removable appliances, for children and adults alike.

Examination and imaging come before the plan.

The first appointment is an examination. The doctor looks at the whole mouth rather than only the tooth that hurts, checks the bite and the gum tissue, and takes your medical history and current medication. For implants, orthodontics or maxillofacial surgery, the plan is built on imaging.

After that examination, the doctor sets out the options, the order they happen in and how many appointments each takes. We do not promise a result in advance, and we do not commit you to a course of treatment before anyone has looked.

Before you book.

A few things make the consultation quicker and more accurate.

  • Previous imaging. Bring any panoramic or cone-beam CT images, or study models, taken elsewhere.
  • Previous dental work. Root-treated teeth, crowns and bridges, implants, orthodontic appliances — and when they were done.
  • Medical history and medication. The doctor needs to know about heart disease, diabetes, clotting disorders, anticoagulants and osteoporosis medication.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some techniques and some imaging have to wait, so tell the doctor at the outset.
